The New Vanish GTX with Scent Lok from Danner is exactly what I have been looking for in a early season boot for hunting the mountains of Colorado!

  These boots are extremely light weight for a 9" tall hunting boot. When you put these boots on your feet you will almost think you slipped on a pair of running shoes. Belive me you are not sacrificing any comfort or support at the price of saving weight though.

  I wore these boots on one of my scouting trips to Colorado and they performed flawlessly. The aggressive outsole gave me plenty of traction on all the terrain I encountered. The waterproof  GORE-TEX with Scent Lok membrane kept my feet dry on numerous stream crossings. (The Scent Lok will really come in handy this fall)  I spent the entire week I was scouting wearing the boots, I  just didn't want to take them off. They were that comfortable!

  I will definitely be wearing these boots as I am chasing Wapiti around the mountains of Colorado this fall and maybe even when I am pursuing whitetails in the hardwoods.
